Ireland - Donegal to Derry

Ten minutes along from Tullagh Beach we stopped at St Columba Church ruin. The first church on this site was built in the 1100s in a monastic settlement. By the 1600s it was taken over by the Church of Ireland and protestant services were conducted here for the next 300 years. This ruin is the church that was built in the 1700s and used until the 1900s.
